Charleston is our home. Our family roots date back to Colonel William Rhett’s arrival in the colony in 1698. My family and I have been offering horse drawn carriage tours of Charleston through Carolina Polo and Carriage Company since 1991. Offering guided carriage tours to visitors and locals alike for 24 years has enabled us to gather together a knowledgeable and enthusiastic team of professional tour guides whom we consider to be the among the best in Charleston. After finishing a carriage tour with one of our entertaining guides, a large number of our guests over the years have shown an interest in seeing Charleston on foot as well. It was for this reason that we launched Walk, LLC, and we welcome the opportunity to provide a variety of unforgettable experiences for our guests. We understand that there are a few walking tour companies to choose from and we appreciate the chance to show you our Charleston.

We had a very enthusiastic tour guide Amy, who did a great job of informing us about the historical aspect of the city. The highlight was Church street seeing all of the magnificent homes. A very nice tour to get familiar with Charleston.
Amy was incredible! Funny, interesting and professional! Her voice carried well and she never ceased to amaze me with her history! A complete treat!
This walking tour of the historic district of Charleston is a good introduction to the area. Our guide was knowledgeable, and we enjoyed learning more about the history and inhabitants of Charleston
Family owned and operated from the beginning, Walks of Charleston is passionate about the history, architecture and culture of Charleston and is dedicated to sharing it with you for a memorable experience on every tour.
